This position is within Fortune Societys Treatment Services program, an OASAS-licensed Section-822 substance use treatment outpatient clinic. Role will entail combination of direct client service, supervision of clinical staff, and significant oversight of program contracts and performance metrics.
Under the supervision of the VP of Administration & Compliance, the Senior Director of Employee Relations & Compliance works in concert with the AVP of Human Resources to provide leadership and guidance on the administration of all employee relations issues, developing strategies to minimize the number and impact of legal claims related to agency employment practices. This position oversees the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process for new hires, compliance related training, the resolution of employee performance issues, and the smooth voluntary and involuntary exiting of employees from the agency. This position works in close collaboration with the VP of Administration & Compliance as well as the AVP of Risk Management and Housing Development and the AVP of Human Resources. May be called upon to serve as surrogate in absence of AVP of HR.
Responsible for managing Fortune Societys recruitment lifecycle and providing general support in the delivery of all Agency human resources practices. S/he will primarily focus on serving as the Agencys lead in position description development, job classifications, applicant sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, background checks, compliance, negotiations and offers, and support new staff onboarding processes. The Recruitment Manager will also manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System.
