In April, springtime arrives! After decorating pretty bags, children of Fortune Kindergarten put on the cute rabbit ears and enjoyed a fun traditional Easter egg hunt!

In March, Multi Culture Month has begun in all campuses of Fortune Kindergarten. During the activities, children learned about the basic national conditions and cultural traditions of different countries, such as flags, traditional food, traditional costumes, traditional stories and so on. Through these activities, the children will be given multiple experiences, and children will be trained to face the future and face the world, so that they will become proud world citizens who are familiar with the traditions of their own countries and the cultures of other countries.

The 15th day of the first lunar month is the Lantern Festival and a day where families come together. Fortune Kindergartens children celebrated in many ways including making dumplings, tasting dumplings, lighting lanterns and guessing riddles to welcome the arrival of this traditional festival.

Chinese New Year is an important traditional holiday in China and during this time children celebrate the Spring Festival by writing lucky words, giving out red packets, making dumplings and decorating the windows with traditional paper cutouts. Children from Fortune Kindergartens celebrated the arrival of the traditional festival together, in many ways, and also celebrated that they are going to be one year older!

All campuse of Fortune Kindergarten held a Winter Concert in December. Children showed many wonderful performances on the stage. Parents were very happy to see the childrens growth and their spectacular show with festive singing, musical instruments and impressive choreographed dances.

In November, Fortune Kindergarten campuses held thier 2018 Christmas Bazaar. This huge event was organized by the Fortune Parent Support Group (FPSG). On that day, there were many wonderful indoor & outdoor games, face painting, many vendors with items and food for sale and an exciting raffle draw. This charity event offered an opportunity for children and parents to enjoy the fun and festivities, while contributing to a most worthy charity.

Super heroes, villains, princesses, witches and ghosts!  Halloween is always a fun celebration at Fortune Kindergarten.  Children and teachers dressed up and enjoyed visiting one anothers classrooms. They went to trick-or-treat around the school, and some were brave enough to venture into the scary dark room.  Children recited Halloween poems and listened to some festive stories too.  Halloween parties included face-painting, games, special meals and treats, and of course Halloween singing and dancing too.  What a fun and spooky day!

This October, all the Fortune Kindergarten campuses held their annual Family Sports day. The fun sports games for children and parents were enjoyed by all. On the race track, children tried their best to run quickly to the finish line. Were proud of everyones efforts, whether they won or not. Thank you to all our students and parents for making this a fun and active day – promoting healthy lifestyles for our families!

Fortune Jinkui campus proudly opened their doors for their first-ever super family day on 21st SeptemberPreschool families joined in our fun-filled classroom activities, enjoyed music with our stunning music team and, last but not least, our parents were amazed by our super P.E team as well! It was a great day to get to know about each family and, as our parents got involved in all the activities, it opened a new gate-way for our parents to get to know our preschool teachers and other staff as well.

This year the Xiehe Education Center Teachers Day Forum 2018 welcomed some of Fortune Kindergartens principals, teachers and staff to participate at the 34th Teachers Day celebration. This celebration was centered on, Chinese and foreign teachers dialogue: Promoting and practicing teachers morality. At this event, educators shared the importance and necessary qualities good teachers need to demonstrate.

On August 31, 2018, the children and their parents of Fortune Kindergarten returned to their kindergarten to attend a half-day orientation. A variety of games and activities have helped parents and children rediscover school life and prepare them for the start of the 2018 school year.

On August 15, 2018, all of the Fortune Kindergarten staff returned to school in anticipation of the new academic year. Although there is still half a month before school begins, we are working hard to provide a clean and safe teaching environment for the children, parents and staff. We hope that the children can have fun and play safely. In the next two weeks, teachers and ayis will be participating in various types of training to ensure their expertise and knowledge will be further enhanced.
